users. Users in the region will benefit from increased access to training with communication technology and they can connect with other users to discuss solutions to common problems or support for more in-depth issues.

“The IAUG is a substantial component of our commitment to engage with our customers,” Avaya Global Growth Markets

President Nidal Abou-Itaif said. “By supporting the IAUG launch, we are acknowledging the tremendous disruptive transformation our customers are going through. Our objective is to ensure that Avaya users have a strong advocacy platform within our organization, so we, in turn, continue being relevant to their business and their growth journey.”

The IAUG was established in 2010 as an international platform for communication technology professionals to connect with each other and to develop a forum with others in the Avaya client community. It has shown to be a viable resource for uses across the globe.

“Giving a voice to the Avaya customers in this rapidly growing region is one of our top priorities,” IAUG Executive Director Victor Bohnert said. “With support from Avaya and leadership from customers in the region, we will be giving both Avaya and their customers a competitive advantage.”
