Bahrain chamber committee reasserts its commitment to global involvement

A meeting aimed at discussing the Bahrain Chamber of
Commerce and Industry’s (BCCI) role in involving Bahrain in regional and global
economic events was hosted last week by the BCCI’s promotion, exhibitions and conferences
sector committee. 

The chamber has a strategy to emphasize the features and
progress of the national economy to all continents with a goal of developing
foreign investments and trade activity in Bahrain. 

The chamber committee discussed its participation at two upcoming events, the PR Summit 3 on June 1 in the Ritz Carlton-Bahrain and the 15th
Trade Fair of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Member States, currently underway in Riyadh.

The committee also discussed preparations Bahrain India Week in November and hosting a gold festival in collaboration
with the pearl, gold and jewelry committee. 

Before adjourning, the committee discussed funding and the logistical support needed for the Arab
Industries Exhibition in Bahrain which will be held in partnership with the
Arab Women Investors of Egypt.
