Two Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) officials met recently to discuss the possibility of sending a delegation

from Bahrain’s real estate sector to the Asharaqia Province of Saudi Arabia in an effort to stimulate business transactions between the countries.

Abdulhakeem Al Shemeri, a member of the BCCI Executive Committee who heads the

Bahraini-Saudi Joint Business Council, met with Hasan Kamal, who heads the BCCI’s real estate committee, and also discussed having the Bahraini delegation present potential investment opportunities to Saudi investors and encourage them to take advantage of the chances.

The delegates could also explore opportunities for investment in Saudi Arabia, which they will bring back to Bahraini investors and encourage them to expand into the Saudi market.

The meeting  was called by Al Shemeri as a preliminary step to boost cooperation between the two countries that could lead to joint business ventures.

Kamal expressed optimism about the real estate sector and the potential of the positive impact the initiatives could have on the economy of both countries.
