A seminar designed to show the proper way of purchasing and
storing food products will be held by the Food and Agriculture sector committee
of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Bahrain
Charity at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Al Mahoos – Manama at
the head office of Bahrain Charity.

“The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Hasan Kamal and Mr.
Abdulla Baqer, who will emphasize the best practices for selecting, buying and storing food, as well as the nutrition value of food products,” Khalid
Al Amin, board member and head of the Food and Agriculture sector committee of
the chamber, said.

Al Amin encouraged everyone to attend the awareness seminar and
noted that this event is one of several seminar planned for the future.

“Organizing this seminar comes in a bid to raise the
awareness of consumers and mitigate the common practice of over-piling food
products, especially in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan,” Al Amin said.
