The Bahrain Asian Traders Committee of the Bahrain
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI),

headed by Vice Treasurer Mohamed Sajid, recently visited the office of Pakistan Ambassador to Bahrain Javed Malik to boost business ties between the two countries.

The meeting focused
on developing Bahraini-Pakistani business relationships and opportunities for businesses to grow within an environment
built by strong economic environments in Bahrain and Pakistan.

Sajid invited the ambassador to attend a “Business
Networking Forum” in an effort to stress the importance of building business
relations. The forum is being held after Ramadan. Sajid also briefed the ambassador
on “Bahrain, Gateway to the Arabian Gulf,” a conference the committee will hold
in the near future.

Malik praised the BCCI for its action in reviving the invigorating Bahraini-Asian
business trade. Malik also highlighted that the Pakistan embassy is prepared to
cooperate with the chamber in every way possible to benefit the economic
standing of both countries. Finally, he noted the need for cooperation between the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation and
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce.
