Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance issued the following announcement on April 24.
Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) has been commended by the UK Awarding Body at The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), largest and most respected professional marketing body around the world, for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in the December 2018 assessments session for the Digital Marketing module of the Certificate in Professional Marketing and the Digital Strategy module of the Diploma in Professional Marketing.
CIM is the leading international professional marketing body with over 30,000 members worldwide. First established in 1911, it has for almost a century defined the marketing standards that operate in the UK and is the global champion of best marketing practice.
CIM qualifications are industry-proven and internationally recognised, offering a pathway for professional development through a portfolio of marketing qualifications that reflect the needs of modern-day marketers and businesses. Amongst many other learnings, CIM qualifications enable learners to identify factors and trends in the market environment and apply the marketing mix to their real world environment.
BIBF was approved by CIM as an Accredited Study Centre since 2012, and currently offers two levels of the CIM’s Professional Marketing Qualifications, Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing and Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing. For the first time in the Kingdom, BIBF introduced Level 6 Digital Diploma in Professional Marketing by CIM, designed to provide practicing marketers with relevant and contemporary marketing content to equip them for the current digital global landscape. This will further strengthen Bahrain’s position as the leading education and innovation hub in the region.
On this occasion, the BIBF Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Abdul Ghani Al Shaikh, praised the outstanding achievement of the students, stressing the institute’s keenness to provide students with the best professional learning experience in collaboration with leading international awarding bodies such as CIM. He also mentioned that training for CIM qualifications is provided by the BIBF experienced senior faculty who are experts in the field.
