The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance recently signed
a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Thunderbird School of Global
Management, a unit of the Arizona State University Knowledge Enterprise.

The
MoU will allow the two parties to collaborate on executive education.

“This partnership outlines the importance of Executive
Education, that has taken center stage worldwide, and with Thunderbird’s
experience and expertise in delivering training, executive education and
professional development — the BIBF has entered into this alliance to facilitate
the delivery of what business professionals and our corporate partners need,” BIBF Director Solveig Nicklos said.

The two organizations will partner for specialized training
programs focused on delivering practical education in regional business,
fostering cross-cultural relations and raising awareness of geopolitical
considerations, and preparing professionals to do business globally.

“We are delighted to launch this
partnership with the BIBF, which plays a key role in shaping the economic
future of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and with Thunderbird’s
alliance combines its 70-year heritage of developing inspired global leaders,” Dr. Alan Morrison, Thunderbird School of Global Management CEO, said. “We believe that executive education is key to sustained change in
individuals, teams and organizations. Partnering with the BIBF, will bring
global opportunities for the region’s learners.”
