Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance issued the following announcement on Jan. 15
Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain, the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), has celebrated the graduation of 35 delegates, who have received their Master’s in Business Administration degrees from the University of Strathclyde Business School in Scotland. This renowned degree is ranked among the top 10 in the UK for Executive MBAs, and ranked first in Scotland.
The Strathclyde Masters in Business Administration Degree is among 1 percent in the world to be ‘triple-accredited’ by leading MBA accreditation bodies. These include the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (“AACSB”), Association of MBAs (“AMBA”) and the European Quality Improvement System (“EQUIS”).
His Excellency, the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, presented the Distinction Awards at the graduation ceremony.
On this occasion, the BIBF Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh, said, “The Strathclyde MBA degree is a well-established Master’s programme in Bahrain, having been launched 24 years ago. The University’s Triple Accreditation places our graduates in the top 1 percent of elite school graduates globally.” He also added, “The BIBF continuously strives to provide internationally-recognised education that matches local and regional business requirements, and our partnership with the University of Strathclyde is part of these efforts that are considered one of our primary initiatives to provide the opportunity for business professionals to receive one of the most highly sought after MBAs in the world.”
