Ahmed Al Naeemi, the BIBF’s head of operations, IT and project management, said that next month’s Bahrain International Project Management Convention 2016 is the first of its kind in the region and will last the entire month.

“When we talk about the field of project management, Bahrain International Project Management Convention 2016 is the most comprehensive training solution for anyone interested in managing any project in any sector whether they are professionals or beginners,” Al Naeemi said. “The convention will compromise of 30 workshops relevant to all industries and presented by four leading professional trainers in the project management field, the convention is about connecting professions, collaborating with fellow project management peers and contributing back to the community.”

The convention takes place Nov. 1-30 through a strategic partnership with Tamkeen and communications partnership with Batelco.

Convention participants can network with senior professionals in the field and play team-building games. The workshops will take place in morning and evening sessions.

The convention aims to provide information about skills management, cost control, preparing budgets and enhancing quality — regardless of the economy.

The convention wraps up with a project management competition in which corporate teams will assemble a bicycle using principles they’ve learned.
