Bahrain’s Alba appoints 2 new managers

Aluminium Bahrain BSC (Alba ), one of the largest aluminium smelting plants in the world, recently announced the appointment of S. Hussain S. Fadhel as the manager of Reduction Lines 1-3 and Mustafa A. Rahman as the manager for Carbon 3.

Rahman has been with Alba in 2001, where he began as a laboratory analyst. Since then, he has worked in many departments and was named shift supervisor for reduction line 4 in 2003. In 2012, he was promoted to technical superintendent. He holds a BSC degree in chemical engineering from the University of Bahrain and a master’s of business administration from the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom.

Fahdel began his career with Alba in 1996 as a senior operator. In 2003 he was promoted to supervisor, and was made superintendent in 2010. He was promoted to senior superintendent in 2014. He holds a BSC in electrical engineering from the University of Bahrain and is presently enrolled in the executive MBA program through ESSEC.
