BankDhofar encourages growth of small, medium businesses in Oman

BankDhofar was a major supporter of the recently held inaugural entrepreneur event created by the Oman Ministry of Defense and the SME Development Fund
to discuss business opportunities and challenges with regards to small and medium enterprises (SME).

“Our support to this initiative comes within our strategic plan to support Omani entrepreneurs and to contribute to the growth and development of the SME sector in the sultanate,” BankDhofar Assistant General Manager and Head of Business Banking

said. “We are one of the first banks to introduce SME related solutions, products and services, and we have been working for years to promote good business ideas and to provide financial solutions and strategic guidance to entrepreneurs.”

SME business owners joined representatives from government departments and private sector organizations in the three-day event that featured panels, talks from guest speakers and displays by startups.

BankDhofar was the main sponsor of the event, along with Maisarah Islamic Banking Services.
