The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) reaffirmed its support of businesswomen at a news conference held by the

Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society to promote the B to B International Businesswomen’s Exhibition, which runs through Wednesday.

 which is currently taking place from March 28 through 30. It is held under the auspices of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of the King of Bahrain and President of the Supreme Council for Women.

“Hosting such important event in Bahrain mirrors the country’s prestigious standing and competence in attracting and holding major economic events,” Ahlam Janahi, BCCI board member and head of its promotion, exhibitions, and conferences sector committee, said. “The event will embrace top business people and entrepreneurs, dignitaries and officials constituting an invaluable opportunity to exhibit and promote the business environment of Bahrain and the unique facilities it offers to investors.”

The conference includes workshops, lectures and discussion panels to emphasize the important issues that challenge solutions and businesswomen. These include how banks facilitate businesswomen, as well as similar concerns with social responsibility and technology.

The conference at the Four Seasons Hotel-Bahrain Bay was organized by the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society, Tamkeen, the BCCI, the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain, the UNIDO and the Federation of GCC Chambers.
