The
India Cargo Awards 2016 named Oman Air Cargo “Best Cargo Airline for Valuable Goods
– North and East.”

The award ceremony was hosted in New Delhi. The award speaks
to the recent development in the cargo division, as Oman Air begins employing
its strategic plan for growth within its cargo operations.

The
airline adds this award to a growing list of recognitions honoring the hard
work and quality services of Oman Air across different categories in the aviation
sector.

“We
are honored to receive this award as a testament to our focus on customer
satisfaction and offering best-in-class services to our clients,” Mohammed
Al Musafir, senior vice president of commercial cargo commercial, Oman Air, said. “As Oman Air
Cargo looks to strengthen its presence in the region, winning an award based on
Internet customer voting is a true mark of our attention to customer feedback
which drives our continuous endeavors in service refinement.”

India
Cargo Awards, India’s first internet voting based awards, is a pan-India
channel that highlights the success of the cargo industry and its major
players. The awards launched within the region in 2015 and have the backing of Ministry
of Civil Aviation and other industry leaders such as Air Cargo Agents
Association of India (ACAAI), Domestic Air Cargo Agents Association of India (DACAAI),
Express Industry Council in India (EICI), Federation of Indian Export Organizations
(FIEO) and Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Association in India (FFFAI).

The
cargo division of Oman Air mirrors the great success of the airline as a whole
and is now being recognized internationally for its growth and quality service.
The Muscat International Airport will soon host the airlines state-of-the-art
cargo facility, utilizing a fully cloud based cargo system. Users can reach
more than 150 online and offline destinations throughout the world through Oman
