The Bahrain Institute of Finance and Banking (BIBF) recently held an open house in Juffair to highlight its undergraduate programs.

The
open house took place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27.

At the event, prospective students can learn from faculty
and alumni and register for various programs. Information sessions will also
take place to highlight the different options for Bahrain-based schooling or
studying abroad in the United Kingdom.

BIBF’s International Foundation Program, which is comparable
to the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level and the Scottish
Advanced Higher Standard, will be showcased. The platform, recognized by the
National Recognition Information Center (UK NARIC), lets students enter into an
undergraduate program directly from the U.K.

BIBF students can join programs at Bangor University and the University
of London, with a focus in economics and management, with academic direction by the
London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), one of the constituent colleges. The Higher Education Council (HEC) of Bahrain
recognizes both the BIBF’s Bangor University and University of London
undergraduate programs.
