The Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Development met last week to discuss how they can work together to benefit Kuwaiti youth in freelance business and private sector business.

KCCI and SME are touting the freelance and private sector as an alternative for entering into government jobs.

KCCI Industry and Labor Committee Chief Fahad Al-Jawan and SME Fund Chairman Mohammad Al-Zuhair both attended the meeting, announcing a program to train and rehabilitate youth is ready to be run by the Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Sagar Development Center, a part of the KCCI.

A memorandum of understanding was signed at the conclusion of the meeting to allow representatives from SME to travel with KCCI to both regional and international events.
