The international hotel group Carlson Rezidor recently added the Hormuz Grand Hotel in Muscat, Oman, to the company’s luxury Quorvus Collection line of hotels.

Carlson Rezidor’s Quorvus Collection is the company’s new generation of “curated” luxury hotels that must be opulent and inspired by the modern sensibilities of today’s world traveler.

Wolfgang M. Neumann, president and CEO of Carlson Rezidor, said the company is excited to add one of Oman’s most well-known hotels to the Quorvus Collection, especially as the company is making major moves to expand the brand in the Middle East.

“The Middle East is a core market for Quorvus Collection,” Neumann said. “We already have one member in the region– the Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait– and will further expand our network of carefully selected properties together with our partners.”

The Hormuz Grand Hotel

boasts 231 guest rooms and is located about 2.5 miles from Muscat International Airport and just over 12 miles away from the center of the city.
