CBB Sukuk Al-Salam securities oversubscribed

The monthly issue
of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities, Sukuk Al-Salam, has been subscribed
by 163 percent, as announced by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).

The BD 43 million
issue holds a maturity of 91 days with subscriptions valued at BD 70 million. Of
the short-term Sukuk Al-Ijara series, this is issue No. 184 (BH00079756S5).

The issue dates
run from Aug. 24 through Nov. 23 and has an expected return of 2.09 percent,
which mirrors the 2.09 percent for the prior issue on July 20.

CBB issues the Sukuk
Al-Salam on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain government.
