CBB Sukuk Al-Salam securities sees slight decrease in return

The monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities
was released by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). 

Reports show the securities
have been subscribed at 102 percent. Subscriptions valued at Bahraini Dinar (BD) 44 million were
accepted for the BD 43 million issue, documented with a maturity of 91 days.

The return on the issue begins June 22 and matures Sept. 21
with an anticipated return of 2.05 percent. This is a slight dip compared to
the 2.08 percent return for the issue on May 25.

CBB issues the Sukuk Al-Salam on behalf of the government of
the Kingdom of Bahrain. The issue number for the short-term Sukuk Al-Ijara
series is No.182 (BH0003O200J3).
