Sunday will mark the inaugural Kuwait Business Breakfast, an event hosted by Cityscape at the JW Marriott Hotel in Kuwait City.

It is open to developers, investors and key stakeholders in Kuwait’s real estate market. The goal is to provide networking opportunities as a precursor to Cityscape Kuwait, a real estate and investment development event slated for Dec. 9-11 at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds in Mishref.

The breakfast will feature a panel of experts who will discuss key industry issues.

“We are pleased to hold the first ever Kuwait Business Breakfast,” Deep Marwaha, group director of Informa, the organizers of Cityscape Kuwait, said. “The event is a preview to Cityscape Kuwait and introduces many of the key themes from the show, such as opportunities and issues in the local market, as well as providing insight into global investment hotspots including Turkey, Britain and Spain, among others.”

Marwaha said the breakfast was organized in response to interest in Cityscape expressed by the members of the Kuwaiti real estate market.

“We are grateful for the support of the industry for our Cityscape event in Kuwait, particularly all the government organizations, our exhibitors and sponsors, and those high caliber industry experts who will participate in the Business Breakfast,” he said.

One of the panelists will be Nasser Faisal Alkhaled, head of real estate funds at Global Investment House.

“The issues and topics we will discuss are of interest to all business people,” he said. “As an investment professional, the Business Breakfast is the perfect platform to meet investors interested in property globally and to share my views on what the latest investment trends are.”

Other panelists at the Kuwait Business Breakfast will be Rami Echo, chief investment officer for AlArgan, and Bassam Al-Othman, executive vice president of Kuwait Financial Centre of Markaz.
