Coral Muscat Hotel and Apartments, owned by Mustafa Sultan Enterprises, recently celebrated its official opening in Qurum during a ceremony that included Oman’s leading dignitaries and business executives.

“We are truly proud to announce the opening of Coral Muscat Hotel and  Apartments,” Mustafa Sultan Enterprises Managing Director

Abdulredha Mustafa Sultan said. “In every respect, this new hotel symbolizes the spirit and substance of our rich culture and hospitality and is an excellent addition to the diverse range of accommodation options available in the city.”

Coral Muscat Hotel and Apartments, managed by

HMH (Hospitality Management Holdings),  is close to the fine dining and shopping and just a 20 minute drive to Muscat International Airport. The deluxe four-star property is part of a shopping gallery and multiplex and hosts 88 beautifully furnished apartments including 23 one-bedroom apartments, 20 one-bedroom deluxe apartments and 45 two-bedroom apartments.

Each apartment within Coral Muscat Hotel and Apartments is designed to be welcoming and is equipped with modern luxuries to make any stay comfortable. Amenities included with the properties are an international dining space, terrace lounge, comfortable meeting spaces for small and medium conferences, a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool and aerobics room.

“In keeping with the brand promise, our aim with Coral Muscat Hotel and Apartments is to offer guests a distinctive experience combining authentic Arabian hospitality with international standards,” HMH CEO

Laurent Voivenel said. “The goal is to appeal to both leisure and business travelers with an intimate, more personalized service and greater attention to detail in a comfortable environment that doesn’t feel over bearing.”

Tourism revenue grew in Oman by an average of 7.4 percent per year over the past decade and experts predict Oman will see 12 million visitors annually by 2020. This expected growth is motivation for quality mid-market hotels in the region. Tourism is expected to contribute 5 percent to the country’s GDP by 2020, and the Oman Ministry of Tourism predicts hotel room capacity will grow at an annual growth rate of 5.3 percent over the next four years.

“Oman is a key development market for HMH in keeping with the group’s strategy to prioritize expansion in GCC and we are proud to debut our brands in the country,” Laurent said. “The hospitality industry in Oman is witnessing remarkable growth at the moment and we are eager to capitalize on the favorable market conditions. HMH is well-positioned in the region and equipped with the most advanced technology and we are confident Coral Muscat Hotel and Apartments will add tremendous value to our growing presence in Oman while strengthening our international portfolio.”
