A new chairperson and vice chairpersons of the Council of
Saudi Chambers (CSC) were selected at the most recent board meeting, according
to Director of Media and Publishing at CSC Obaid Al Mandah.

Dr. Hamdan Al
Samreen was elected as chairperson and Saleh Al Afaleq and Shuwaimi
Al Kattab were chosen as Vice Chairpersons of CSC for the rest of its current term
by an agreement among members of the CSC.

The election was overseen by the legal department of the CSC
to ensure all actions and procedures displayed the utmost honesty and
integrity. Al Mandah described the deliberation and voting process as friendly
and fair.

It is the responsibility of the newly elected leaders to develop the
CSC’s involvement in the many business sectors of Saudi and ensure the
interests of the business owners are protected. The choice of the chairperson
and vice chairpersons speaks to the Saudi business sector’s needs.

The elected officials are known nationally for their
knowledge and skill in the general economic field, reports Al Mandah.

After the deliberation and election process, Al Samreen, Al Afaleq and Al Kattab showed appreciation for the support of the
CSC members, committing themselves to spend the time and energy needed to
promote the CSC, make its efforts more visible in the community and do all
things necessary to help grow the Saudi business sector.

The final selections were as follows: Dr. Hamdan Al Samreen
is the chairperson of Al Jouf Chamber of Commerce, Afaleq is chairperson of
Al Hassa Chamber of Commerce, and Al Kattab is chairperson of Al Kharj
Chamber of Commerce.
