H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, stopped by the United Arab Emirates pavilion at EXPO 2015 in Milan, Italy last week.

Sheikh Hamdan was welcomed by young volunteers, who spoke to him about information available at the tent. Volunteers showcased the UAE’s journey toward progress and the challenges the nation has overcome in an attempt to conserve water and procure alternative energy for use in the future.

Sheikh Hamdan also toured the Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways exhibits before stopping at the stand of the Dubai Municipality and Etisalat.
After the tour, the sheikh expressed his satisfaction, noting that Dubai will host EXPO 2020.

The sheikh also toured the national pavilions of Angola, Brazil, Lithuania, Malaysia, Spain, Ecuador, Slovakia, Estonia, Germany, the United States, Chile and Colombia.

The sheikh  was accompanied by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, minister of State and director general of the EXPO 2020 Bureau; Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum; members of the EXPO 2020 organizing committee; senior officials; and Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to Italy.
