The Dubai Association Center (DAC) has planned an interactive seminar called Going Global: Prospects for Growth as part of its promotion of Dubai as a worldwide association hub.

The seminar is for the Associations Network’s high-level delegates, which consist of delegates from the association based in London from a study mission in Dubai on March 10 to 14.

The main goal of the seminar is the demonstration of Dubai’s capability to host international association congresses while educating visiting delegates on DAC-offered benefits. These benefits are offered to associations around the world that have interest in reaching out to regional markets via the Dubai hub. The seminar is also a way to enlighten delegates on the emirate’s business environment and local investment opportunities.

Established in 2014, the DAC was constructed under the Memorandum of Understanding that was signed by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dubai Business Events and the Dubai World Trade Center. The DAC was established with the intent to offer aid for the creation of nonprofit, apolitical and nonreligious professional associations, as well as trade organizations in Dubai, so they could develop their activities in the emirate as well as worldwide.
