DAMAC Towers by Paramount Hotels & Resorts was named “Tower Project of the Year” at the Construction Week Awards 2016.

The $1.3 billion project earned the coveted recognition for its construction practices and dedication to safety.

The Hollywood-inspired, four-tower development is located in the Burj area and will feature 1,200 luxury serviced residences, and more than 800 rooms and suites. Its facilities will include a wellness and fitness center, gym, sauna, swimming pool, luxury spa, screening rooms modeled after Paramount professional studios, retail outlets, and eight restaurants.

In constructing DAMAC Towers, techniques have been used to simplify coordination and information exchange, optimize design, enhance logistics, increase the speed of construction, and enable flexibility with regards to moving materials and equipment.

“We are delighted to have won this highly-regarded award for one of our most distinctive and much-anticipated projects in the pipeline,” DAMAC Properties Senior VP Niall McLoughlin said. “This award is testament to the pioneering role that DAMAC continues to play in luxury real estate whilst also demonstrating our commitment to construction best practice and usage of the latest techniques and technologies that translate into enhanced project delivery.”
