In an effort to support low-income families at Ajman
University of Science and Technology (AUST), the Dar Al Ber Society has committed to
contributing 500,000 (Dh) yearly to the Thamer Fund for Educational Solidarity at AUST.

The commitment was confirmed in a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU), one of two signed by the parties. The MoU was agreed
upon by Abdullah bin Zayed, executive director, Dar Al Ber, and Abdullah Al
Mazrouie, chairman of Thamer Fund, Ajman University.

“Both sides, as agreed, will co-sponsor scientific
conferences and seminars on best charitable and humanitarian practices and
other relevant aspects,” bin Zayed said. “We will also exchange researches and
studies on charity investment and alms management.”
