HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), met with Salesforce’s executive leadership to discuss expanding their partnership in digital innovation and sustainability. The meeting included Miguel Milano, Global President & Chief Revenue Officer of Salesforce, Mohammed Alkhotani, CEO of Salesforce MENA, as well as Marwan bin Haidar, DEWA’s Executive Vice President of Innovation and the Future, and Waleed bin Salman, Executive Vice President of Business Development & Excellence.
Al Tayer stressed the value of working with international technology companies to enhance innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability within DEWA. He stated, “DEWA’s collaboration with Salesforce supports Dubai’s broader digital transformation and green economy strategies.”
He further explained DEWA’s commitment to its long-term Strategic Plan, aiming to become a globally leading sustainable innovative corporation with a goal to reach net zero emissions by 2050. Al Tayer added, “DEWA’s commitment to deliver highly personalised, seamless and proactive services that not only respond to customer needs but anticipate them in real time. This approach will redefine service excellence, placing customers at the heart of DEWA’s digital transformation journey.”
During the discussions, both parties looked at ways to strengthen their partnership by leveraging expertise in the utilities sector to advance digitalization and sustainability goals. Plans include using artificial intelligence to improve customer experiences by providing more tailored services and integrating data across platforms to enable faster and smarter decision-making.
The partnership also aims to optimize field services using advanced digital tools, increasing efficiency and operational standards. A key focus remains on supporting DEWA’s clean energy transition and net-zero targets through digital solutions designed to promote sustainability.
