Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) approved an organization-wide work plan to implement the Dubai Smart Training Initiative, launched by the Dubai Government Excellence Program of the Secretariat General of the Dubai Executive Council.

Promoting the capabilities of government employees, the project includes a series of training programs to discuss the principles, standards and concepts of excellence.

The first training program includes nine packages to maximize benefits in areas including innovation and creativity, sustainability of excellent results, leading with a vision, inspiration and integrity, building a sustainable future, developing organizational capabilities, and achieving success through employees’ capabilities.

“DEWA is committed to providing the necessary training for its staff to enhance their performance and keep them up-to-date with the latest developments in their areas of specialization,” DEWA Chief Executive Officer Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer said. “The Dubai Smart Training Initiative and the training program certificate will contribute to achieving excellence and progress, and develop DEWA ‘s services to make both staff and customers happier.”
