Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is participating as a supporting sponsor in the fourth edition of the World Utilities Congress. The event, hosted by TAQA, is taking place at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi from May 17 to May 29, 2025. DEWA aims to showcase its key projects and initiatives designed to promote its position as a leading utility provider globally. The authority will also highlight its efforts to accelerate energy transition and enhance collaboration for achieving net-zero emissions.

The World Utilities Congress serves as a platform for global entities in the energy and water sectors to present their latest technologies, products, services, and solutions. It also facilitates discussions on trends, technologies, and innovations impacting future demand for water supplies and energy sources worldwide.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA stated: “We are pleased to support the World Utilities Congress for the second consecutive year to advance the development of innovative solutions that will respond to pressing challenges in the energy and water sectors around the world and encourage sustainable practices to address the repercussions of climate change on these vital sectors.
