Dewa opens registration for WETEX’s upcoming edition

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has opened applications for the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX). The event is organized under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy. The exhibition will be hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 30 to October 2, 2025.

WETEX stands as a significant trade fair in the region, focusing on sectors such as energy, water, green development, sustainability, green mobility, and smart cities. It is recognized globally as one of the largest specialized exhibitions in its field. In its previous edition in 2024, WETEX featured over 2,800 exhibitors from 65 countries and attracted more than 50,000 visitors worldwide. The event also included 21 international pavilions with companies engaged in energy production and distribution from clean sources and firms specializing in water technologies and digital transformation.

The Green Mobility Hall at WETEX 2024 showcased leading companies in mobility and sustainable logistics. Additionally, there was a dedicated hub for health and safety technologies. Regional and international forums participated to seek new partnerships and growth opportunities.

During WETEX 2024, DEWA organized the Future Energy Landscape Forum which gathered government representatives and industry specialists to discuss oil and gas sustainability. Workshops were conducted to highlight incentives for companies considering establishing operations in Dubai.
