Dewa partners with Rashid Centre to enhance facilities for people with determination

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has sponsored the renovation of rehabilitation classes at the Rashid Centre for People of Determination. This initiative aims to enhance the centre’s environment, allowing People of Determination to realize their potential and participate in various activities.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, stated: “In line with the directives of the wise leadership and the goals of the ‘Year of Community’, we support both government and private entities in creating an educational environment tailored to the needs of People of Determination and in providing them with innovative rehabilitation and training programmes. This will develop inspiring models that promote the positive image of People of Determination in society and enhance their effective contribution to sustainable development. Our collaboration with the Rashid Centre for People of Determination is part of our firm belief that supporting and empowering People of Determination is a social responsibility that requires mobilising the efforts of different sectors and organisations. We also contribute to transforming Dubai into a city that is accessible for People of Determination and to making the UAE the best country in the world in caring for and empowering them.”

Mariam Othman, Director General of the Rashid Centre for People of Determination, expressed gratitude towards DEWA’s support, highlighting its commitment to social responsibility. She said: “This partnership embodies the spirit of giving and compassion that defines our national institutions and plays a vital role in empowering our students and providing a nurturing educational and developmental environment.
