Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has been honored with the ‘3G Championship Award for Digital Transformation 2025’ for its Internal Audit Department’s achievements. The award was announced at the Global Good Governance Awards organized by UK-based Cambridge IFA, highlighting DEWA’s leadership in governance and internal audit. This recognition follows a thorough auditing process by Cambridge IFA, confirming DEWA’s adherence to international standards in governance and digital transformation. The award ceremony took place during the 10th annual event in Brunei Darussalam.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, accepted the award at DEWA’s headquarters, accompanied by Ahmed Hassan Mohammad Noor, Vice President – Internal Audit, and team members from the department.

“We are pleased that DEWA has won the ‘3G Championship Award for Digital Transformation 2025’, showcasing the extraordinary accomplishments of the Internal Audit Department in the Digital Transformation category,” said Al Tayer. “This reflects our commitment to the highest standards of transparency, integrity and institutional governance.”

Ahmed Noor added: “Under the guidance of DEWA’s top management, we adopt the latest artificial intelligence technologies across our various operations.”

The Global Good Governance (3G) Awards are supervised by Cambridge IFA in the UK and recognize entities that prioritize governance and sustainability through innovative practices.
