More than 50 female employees from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) participated in a ‘Ski Hiking Challenge’ organised by the DEWA Women’s Committee at Ski Dubai, located in the Mall of the Emirates. The event aimed to promote teamwork and healthy competition among women working at DEWA.
Fatima Al Jokar, Chairperson of the DEWA Women’s Committee, said: “The entertainment events, social activities and sports programmes we organise foster a spirit of teamwork among DEWA’s female employees across all divisions. These initiatives are designed to inspire them to achieve a harmonious work-life balance, promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage daily participation in sports. By enhancing their overall happiness and quality of life, these activities empower female employees to deliver exceptional results and perform their vital roles in driving sustainable prosperity and development.”
Aysha Al Asam Almazrouei, Vice Chairperson of the DEWA Women’s Committee, added: “We are dedicated to fostering a motivative and positive environment at DEWA – one that nurtures both the physical and mental well-being of our female employees. We are delighted by the active participation of DEWA’s female staff in the events organised by the Women’s Committee, as well as the enthusiastic spirit that consistently defines these gatherings.”
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by DEWA’s Women’s Committee to support staff engagement through various activities focused on health, wellness, and team building.
