The Youth Council of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organized an educational visit to the Etihad Museum for 28 young employees. The event took place during the UAE’s celebrations of the 54th Eid Al Etihad and Dubai’s National Month, which is designed to coordinate events in Dubai commemorating national occasions from Flag Day on November 3 to Eid Al Etihad on December 2, 2025. The initiative is part of DEWA’s ongoing efforts to promote national identity and strengthen a sense of belonging among its youth.

During their visit, participants learned about significant historical milestones related to the formation of the Union. They explored various museum collections, documents, photographs, and archival materials that detail the establishment of the UAE and highlight achievements that have contributed to its development.

Aysha Mohammad Alremeithi, President of DEWA’s Youth Council, stated: “The visit supports DEWA’s efforts to consolidate belonging and loyalty to the nation, and to deepen young people’s connection to authentic Emirati values, in line with the Emirati National Identity Strategy.”

Alremeithi also noted: “Such initiatives raise awareness of the UAE’s history and cultural heritage, while consolidating the national values that form a key pillar of the country’s development and progress.”
