United Arab Emirates-based hygiene care products supplier Dhofar Global recently entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with QTS Italy, a manufacturer of dispensers for soap, paper towels and toilet paper.

Dhofar Global will be the Italian manufacturer’s distributor in the UAE, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain with the goal of  growing QTS Italy’s reach from 1,500 to 100,000 dispensers during its first phase.

The agreement was signed earlier this week by Alessandro Anfossi, chief executive officer for QTS Italy, and Amer Al Rawas, chairman of Dhofar Global. Also present at the signing, which took place at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milan, Italy, were Faleh Al Abri, group chief executive officer for Dhofar Global, and Chandan Singh, group chief operations officer for Dhofar Global.

“In response to growing demand for innovative dispensing solutions for soap, paper towel and toilet paper in UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain, we have signed an agreement to become the business partner for QTS Italy,” Singh said. “They are the leaders in the dispenser segment with unique designs and innovative technology that are best suited for the region’s requirements. The collaboration will help both parties to expand further in the Arabian Gulf, capture a greater market share and reach the target of 100,000 dispensers during the first phase of our partnership. Moreover, we are keen to support UAE, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain’s drive toward sustainability and, through this new partnership with QTS Italy, we look forward to provide the market with recycled tissue papers and dispensers in the near future.”

Dhofar Global’s focus is on using the latest technology to develop innovative products. The company was launched in 2001, and is the region’s leading supplier to 4- and 5-star hotels, multi-national corporations, banking sectors, ministries, private sectors organizations and facility management companies.

Dhofar Global opened its first office in the UAE in 2007.
