Djembe Communications, a Pan-African communications
consultancy, has seen growth during the first half of 2016 — as well as a stronger client
base and African network presence — and will look to further increase that
growth during the second half of the year.

Djembe has expanded regionally across the continent,
creating offices in Accra, Ghana, and Rabat, Morocco. On the client front, the
company won contracts from Banco Nacional de Angola, The Commodities Exchange
of Mozambique, NiFund, a Nigerian Investment Fund and the Global Fund.

Djembe
has also been recognized with many top industry awards, including the In2 SABRE
Award for Best Live Event category, Hermes Creative Award for Djembe Insights
Roundtables and Premios Lusos Awards for Public Relations Agency of the Year.

“Djembe’s growth is a mirror image of what we are
witnessing with our clients, who are actively pursuing opportunities in the
region,” Djembe Managing Director Mitchell Prather said. “Djembe is
implementing impactful communication programs to support their growth
strategies while building strong reputations for our clientele on the global
stage.”

Prather said Djembe was excited to work with quality clients
to change Africa’s narrative, showcasing it as a region with major potential.

“These industry awards are a testament to our solid growth
and performance over the last two years,” he said.
