A group of Doha
College students recently proved that while mock exams might not be real, their preparations for the upcoming examinations are unfailing.

Ten students in Year 11 at the Qatar school aced their mock tests, which are seen as good indicators of what to expect from students when they sit for their finals.

“These
results place our students in a fantastic position for their actual GCSEs in
June,” Teacher Sara James, who leads the Year 11 class, said. “I am
incredibly proud of them, and they are great ambassadors for Year 11.”

The students also seemed pleased with their results.

Tareq Sehly loves to debate and hopes to become a doctor one day.

“My
favorite subject is biology,” Sehly said. “I really enjoy the biology
practicals and understanding more about our bodies.”

Malaysian student Qurratu
Hashim was particular happy with her geography scores.

“My
teacher makes the subject so interesting,” Hashim said. “He is very enthusiastic, and this
inspires me to work hard.”

The
students can use the results to create effective revision
strategies, improve their knowledge and familiarize themselves with exam
technique before the final exams.
