The Dubai Chamber of
Commerce and Industry recently hosted Argentina Vice President Gabriela
Michetti, along with her delegation, at the organization’s head office in
Dubai.

The meeting was held in the presence of Chairman Majid Al Ghurair.

Michetti spoke at the
meeting, urging UAE investors to enhance economic and investment cooperation
between the two countries. She believes these investors can benefit from
various opportunities offered by Argentina to overseas investors.

According to
Michetti, Argentina and the UAE share a common vision for future growth.
Together, she believes the two countries can boost joint investments.

For his part, Al Ghurair
noted the importance of Latin America as a whole for the UAE, specifically Argentina.

“Argentina is one of Dubai’s
top trading partners in Latin America as the two leading economies share common
synergies and enjoy a strategic geographic location in their respective regions; and, as both sides thrive on tourism and foreign direct investments, there is
ample scope for them to strengthen their cooperation ties in these areas,” he said.
