The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) teamed up to organize a recent workshop on adopting the newly introduced fourth generation of the Government Excellence System.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ahmed Nusairat, DGEP coordinator general, and Dr. Ziad Al Kahlout, quality and excellence adviser at DGEP secretariat general. They provided information about steps, responsibilities and tasks in adopting the system.

Dubai Chamber President and CEO Hamad Buamim said the new system will stimulate innovation and aims to improve government performance based on standards geared towards the implementation of the Dubai Plan 2021.

“This also supports the chamber’s efforts in serving the business community in line with Dubai’s reputation of providing innovative services, therefore, the organization started shifting towards the fourth generation of government excellence system in accordance with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai, to uplift the performance for achieving the highest standards of quality and sustainable excellence,” Buamim said.
