The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently introduced its Human Capital Management (HCM) smart app, part of Dubai’s Smart City initiative which is championed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai.

The initiative is part of Al Maktoum’s commitment to the National Charter for Happiness and Positivity to create a better environment and generate happiness for individuals.

The HCM app is part of the chamber’s strategy to spur creativity and innovation in the private sector. The app is designed to give people access to human resources through the click of a button from their smartphones. The app also allows users to apply for services from human resources and track the status of their inquiries from their mobile devices. The app connects users to the Fusion system and technical support services offered by the IT department.

The launch of the app is in line with the Dubai chamber’s dedication to supporting the smart business initiative and keeps pace with the emirates fast-paced development.
