The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry will serve as a
headline partner for the Innovation Live! Summit, the featured event during UAE
Innovation Week.

The partnership will bolster interest in the inaugural summit,
set for Nov. 21 in Dubai.

“We are pleased to be collaborating with this
first-of-its-kind summit that will put the spotlight on initiatives that will
drive innovation here in the UAE,” Hamad Buamim, president and CEO, Dubai
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said. “Events like these are an ideal platform for
us to work with the private sector to ensure that our economy remains
competitive.”

The Dubai business community is a top priority for the Dubai
Chamber in terms of helping develop and protect the interests of business
owners. With this mission in mind, the chamber created DubaiStartupHub, which
aims to create an environment that supports innovation and original ideas. The
online tool offers information related to resources and services available to
the business community while supporting the growth of Dubai’s technology and
startup industries.

“The business community in Dubai needs disruption to help
the UAE become one of the most advanced countries in the world, and the
initiative taken by the summit’s organizer MEED is an important step towards
achieving this goal,” Buamim said.

Innovation Live! falls in line with the goals of the Dubai
Chamber to provide enlightening information and support private industries that
may not otherwise have the tools needed to succeed.

“MEED is proud to
partner with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Innovation Live!
Dubai Chamber is an organization that shares MEED’s goal of supporting the
private sector and government departments in Dubai to collaborate on
innovation,” Richard Breeden, CEO of MEE, said.
