The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the Slovak Investment Seminar that took place on Tuesday, March 15.

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry was able to form the seminar with a collaborative effort that includes the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), the Slovak Ministry of Economy and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in the UAE.

In attendance at the seminar were delegates of high level economic and government standing. The delegates in attendance included Rastislav Chovanec, state secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic; Majid Al Ghurair, chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce; Dusan Horniak, ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the UAE; and Atiq Nasib, senior vice president of the commercial services sector for the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. More than 20 representatives from Slovakia and Dubai businesses were present at the seminar, as well.

Al Ghurair gave a speech at the seminar which stressed the importance of solidifying the relationship between Dubai and Slovakia with regard to bilateral investments. He went on to say that the Dubai Chamber is dedicated to providing all potential facilities to Slovak investors looking to invest in Dubai.
