The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry said Wednesday it will host a series of three workshops on Jan. 18, 20 and 25 on best practices for businesses in conjunction with its 9th cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award.

The cycle began in November with an event featuring several speakers on business excellence, technology and innovation issues.

Each seminar brings together business leaders to provide top-tier business insights, networking opportunities and guidance from the region’s best companies.

Previous award winners include du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company), AW Rostamani Group, School Transport Services, Emirates NBD, RAK Hospital and Union Cooperative Society.

The chamber is also collaborating with the Ministry of Economy to organize the first Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Innovation Award, which will focus on promoting a culture of innovation across the region as a means of strengthening domestic and international competitiveness.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award was created by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai in 2005, to recognize the region’s top business performers and give them a platform on which to share their methods, best practices and strategies.
