Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has received the ‘Best Team Initiative’ award at the UK’s Best Business Awards 2025. The recognition was accepted by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA.
The award acknowledges DEWA’s efforts to encourage teamwork and collaboration within its operations. DEWA was recognized for its initiative focused on developing and improving Dubai’s electricity distribution network. The project involved a team of experts who planned and designed 22 load transfer projects over three years, using innovative approaches. These projects improved the stability of energy supplies for customers in Dubai while also resulting in significant financial savings for DEWA.
