Dubai Humanitarian recently concluded its conference and global meeting in Dubai, focusing on sustainable innovation in the humanitarian field. The event took place at DIHAD 2025 under the theme “Sustainable Innovation in the Humanitarian Field.” It gathered leaders, experts, and changemakers to discuss greener logistics, smarter data use, and inclusive partnerships.

The pavilion hosted 46 speakers across 17 sessions, showcasing actionable solutions and innovations for the future of aid. HE Abdulla Al Shaibani, Board Member of Dubai Humanitarian, highlighted the UAE’s commitment to sustainability and resilience in humanitarian efforts.

A key feature was the award-winning Humanitarian Logistics Databank, a digital platform for real-time stockpile visibility. Giuseppe Saba, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Humanitarian, stated: “This year we created a space where ideas met action and a collective commitment to do better for those in need took center stage.”

Saba further emphasized: “From the global platform of the pavilion to the meaningful reflections shared at our annual meeting… We are not just adapting to the future; we are shaping it.”

Additional sessions focused on emerging technologies and partnership models aimed at enhancing sector readiness and impact.

In conjunction with this event, over 100 stakeholders attended Dubai Humanitarian’s Global Meeting at the Knowledge and Development Center. The gathering reviewed milestones from 2024 and encouraged collaboration among various entities to shape future humanitarian actions. A notable moment was launching the “Community Pulse” survey for real-time feedback to guide strategic decisions.

The meeting also celebrated contributions through the Dubai Humanitarian Awards:

– Best Interactive Campaign: Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL)
– Best SDG-Focused Project: Sparkle Malawi
– Best Innovative Solution: International Medical Corps
– Most Impactful Partnership: Life for Relief and Development
