Dubai Humanitarian is set to introduce a new phase in humanitarian strategy at the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD) 2025. The event will be held from April 29 to May 1, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Center. The Dubai Humanitarian Pavilion aims to advance the conference’s theme: Sustainable Innovative Solutions in the Humanitarian Field.

The pavilion will feature over 35 expert speakers and more than 10 sessions showcasing innovative solutions and partnerships. Participants, including humanitarian leaders, policymakers, local actors, innovators, researchers, and private sector partners, will discuss the future of humanitarian action.

Highlights of the pavilion include a display of innovative solutions, a networking platform for global community members, and the Humanitarian Logistics Databank—a digital platform for real-time stockpile visibility—and pioneering initiatives.

Sessions will cover topics such as climate-resilient logistics, financial sustainability, and green sourcing. Giuseppe Saba, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Humanitarian stated: “We have started our journey for a sustainable humanitarian supply chain a couple of years ago and it has never been more relevant than today. At a time of complex global crises…business as usual in the humanitarian sector is no longer enough.” He emphasized their commitment to reimagining humanitarian response through innovation and sustainability.

Panel discussions will explore themes like transforming aid for future challenges, technology’s role in relief efforts, smarter sourcing for aid, financial sustainability beyond short-term gains, and aligning innovation with sustainability.

A key feature at the pavilion is the award-winning Humanitarian Logistics Databank by Dubai Humanitarian. This platform enhances emergency preparedness by providing real-time visibility of aid stockpiles globally. It has proven essential in reducing duplication and accelerating crisis response.

The pavilion aligns with Dubai’s vision of transformation and its dedication to being a hub for humanitarian impact and collaboration.
