Dubai Municipality lauded for sustainability efforts

Dubai Municipality was honored during the Middle East Smart Landscape Summit 2015
this week with an award

recognizing the municipality’s continuing sustainability efforts while adhering to the highest international standards.

The award was presented by Al Harith Al Moosa, vice chairman and deputy general manager of Falconcity of Wonders, on behalf of H.E. Salem Al Moosa, chairman and general manager.

“It was a privilege to associate with Dubai Municipality at the Smart Landscape Summit,” Al Moosa

said. “Dubai Municipality has been known to set benchmarks with its best practices across the region. Their enduring effort in promoting UAE as a sustainable nation is commendable. We are extremely honored to have had an opportunity of supporting the government’s initiative of green living.”

This year’s Middle East Smart Landscape, the third, was attended by nearly 680 senior members including landscape architects, municipality officials, urban planners, hotels and resorts project owners, developers, environmental specialists and contractors from across the Gulf Cooperation Council.
