The Dubai Police recently gave an award to Emirates National Oil Company
(ENOC) for its collaboration in the realm of sustainability and environment, health
and safety (EHS).

An award ceremony took place at ENOC’s headquarters in
Dubai. Attending the ceremony were Col. Dr. Tamim Alhaj, Director-Environment,
Health & Safety-General Dept. Services and Supplies; Major Jasim Mohamed Al
Hammadi, Head of Energy Saving; and Dr. Eng. Waddah Ghanem Al Hashemi,
Executive Director, EHSSQ & Corporate Affairs at ENOC.

“Our collaborative efforts with Dubai Police are in line
with our commitment to enhance our crisis management and emergency response
practices and methodologies and align them with global best practice,” Saif Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC, said. “We believe these efforts are crucial
to improve security measures that ensure the safety and protection of our
community and critical infrastructure.”

In 2013, ENOC and Dubai Police signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) in order to collaborate on crisis management and emergency response
practices. The organizations implemented joint training programs on risk
management, incident investigations and environmental awareness.

Both entities noted their shared commitment to ensuring
safety in the community by reinforcing safety standards for the energy sector
in Dubai.
