A Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) team recently presented
an orientation session that was sponsored by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) in order to
familiarize participants with the emirate’s government excellence system now in its
fourth generation.
Dubai Tourism acted as host for the event attended by numerous senior staff,
including Dubai Tourism Director-General Helal Saeed Almarri and DGEP leaders

competencies of government entities with the aim of living up to public
expectations,” Almarri said. “Dubai Tourism constantly strives to
integrate new systems into its work process that help achieve the optimum
levels of efficiency and quality.”
