The city of Dubai will host an entrepreneurial event featuring Rima Al-Sheikh and Hasan Haider on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Hult International Business School.
Rima Al-Sheikh, a Syrian national residing in Dubai, is the founder and CEO of GTL.io, a user product design and research agency. Previously, Rima was one of the founders of Nabbesh.com, which was the original marketplace for MENA. With more than a decade of design and technology products experience, Rima is a remarkable resource for local entrepreneurs. She has worked with a variety of different sectors in consumer and media, including MENA, Dubizzle, and several other organizations.
Hasan Haider is the CEO at Tenmou, the first Business Angels organization in Bahrain. He is also the Venture Partner stewarding the MENA Region 500 Startups, which is the most active Venture Capital firm with 17 investments based in the Silicon Valley. Hasan’s ultimate goal is to invest and support start-up entrepreneurs in Bahraini. He has invested in 18 seed-stage startups and is looking for other high-potential beginning businesses for his investments. He has been a regular speaker about entrepreneurship.
