Etihad Airways recently won all three awards in the First Class categories at the Skytrax World Airline Awards.

This is the second time the UAE national airline was recognized as Best First Class Airline, Best First Class Airline Seat and Best First Class Onboard Catering.

Considered a global benchmark of airline excellence, the Skytrax World Airline Awards are given based on the choices of more than 18 million airline passengers around the world.

Among Eithad Airways’ first class offerings are spacious apartments and suites featuring amenities such as a large leather armchair, bed and a shower. First class passengers also have access to fine dining, and chefs that can provide an individualized dining experience.

“The airline is tremendously proud that, based on the results of a huge global customer satisfaction survey, we have yet again been presented with these prestigious awards for the world’s finest first class experience,” Calum Laming, vice president of guest experience at Etihad Airways, said. “We have enhanced the experience even further this year through investment in our products, services and cabins and this is a welcome reward for those efforts.”
